Shortly after the early release of the game, publishers announced that they would take action against tampering with the game so that 25,000 players l copies and maintained the peak of a simultaneous number of players of over three million, the highest ever on Stim.

PUBG is an action game in which up to a hundred players fight each other to stay alive. Players can choose to play solo or with a team of up to four members.

Each match begins by parachuting players jumping out of a plane into a map that is about 8 times 8 kilometers in area. Airplane trajectory is randomly selected for each round so players must decide in advance the best place to jump out of.

The main aim of the map is to offer players plenty of options for a strategic and unique way of playing. The main aim was how to optimize the distribution and place of weapons on the map, to encourage players to make strategic decisions and to avoid penalizing players who fail to find weapons at the start of the round.

Players start with no equipment other than clothing that does not affect the game. When landing, players can search buildings and other places to find weapons, vehicles, armor, and other equipment. These items are arrange all over the map at the beginning of the match, and usually in high-risk locations one can find the best equipment.

The killed players are searchable and their equipment can taken.

Every few minutes the game zone shrinks to a random location, if a player stays out of the zone slowly begins to take away his HP and if he does not enter the zone in time he will be eliminate. By reducing the zone, the player has an increasing chance of encountering another player.

During the game, random locations on the map  highlighted in red and bombed, posing a threat to anyone in the red zone. During the game, players are notified in advance  any change, and be  able to get to a safe place.

Also during the game are planes ejecting certain equipment,  it cannot be found so easily during normal game, each round lasts 30 minutes

The players have ability to use the vehicle, so they quickly reach the desired destination and complete the round.

After each round is complete , players receive in-game currency that depends on the last rank, the number of players killed, and the damage done to other players. Currency is use to buy clothes and change characters.
